The district
In the heart of right-bank Cologne
Buchforst is an established residential quarter on the right bank of the Rhine and part of the borough of Mülheim. Architecturally it is defined by two listed estates, the “Weiße Stadt” and the “Blauer Hof”, major examples of the Neues Bauen movement of the 1920s and early 1930s.
