The real Cologne, minus the crowds
Buchforst won’t end up on a postcard, but it’s practical: bus stop outside, supermarket next door, tram and S-Bahn a short walk away. And parking on Waldecker Straße costs nothing.
- LANXESS arena and Deutz station: 3 min by S-Bahn S6/S11
- Cologne Cathedral and main station: 6 min by S-Bahn S6/S11
- Neumarkt: 13 min on tram 3
- Cologne/Bonn Airport: about 30 to 35 min by train, 1 change
- Düsseldorf main station: about 45 min by S-Bahn S6

A lovely apartment where you feel at home right away, a super comfortable bed, the host replies quickly and is very friendly, supermarket right next door, bus stop right opposite, tram just a short walk away. Thanks for a lovely stay in Cologne!
I can really recommend this apartment. Everything is clean and super modern. Communication was flawless too. I felt very much at home and would happily come back :)
The apartment was really great! Very modern and cosy, with a real feeling of home. The sofa is very comfortable and the TV is great. The apartment is well equipped and sits right in front of a bus stop and next to a supermarket, which is very handy. The bed is very comfortable, the wardrobe is big and the room is spacious overall. Great bathroom and a great shower. I can only recommend it!

Good questions. Short answers.
How long can I stay?
One month minimum, six at most. Anything in between works too, six weeks for example.
What does the price include?
Electricity, water, heating, Wi-Fi at 100 Mbit/s, cleaning every 14 days with fresh linen, and the washing machines in the basement. There’s a one-off final cleaning fee on top.
Can I register my address in Cologne?
Yes. For stays of a month or more, you get the landlord confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbescheinigung) that the citizens’ office (Bürgeramt) wants to see. Just let us know before you arrive.
How does moving in work?
Code instead of keys: it comes by email on your arrival day, and from 3 pm you let yourself in.
Can I view the apartment beforehand?
Sorry, no. The apartments are almost always occupied, and we don’t ring our guests’ doorbells. Instead, every apartment page has plenty of photos and all the details.
